Professional Development Sessions: A Primer on US Child Welfare Laws – University of Arizona College of Law

The Board is excited to invite you to our next professional training program, A Primer on US Child Welfare Laws, which will take place on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm, at the University of Arizona College of Law, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC, 20004.

 

This important program is being presented in conjunction with the University of Arizona College of Law, DC Campus.  The speaker, Professor Paul Bennett, will discuss child and parental rights, child safeguards, state and local agency resources, and common issues when one or both parent(s) is/are foreign national(s).

 

The program will be in the University of Arizona space, so we must use their online registration process, however, this is an official Consular Corps of Washington, DC program, so there is NO COST to register.  Please use the following link to RSVP (register) for the program:

The doors will open at 3:30 pm for coffee and networking.  Professor Bennett will begin his presentation at 4:00 pm, and the event will end at 5:00 pm.
